If you love eating, North Goa is bound to be your ideal choice. The variety of cuisines available and the exquisite dining experiences are one of the major attractions for tourists to the beaches in northern Goa. With the wide range of cuisines available at the numerous hotels and restaurants in beaches like Anjuna, Vagator, Calangute and so on, deciding what/where to eat can at times be a confusing task. Goan food has more use of coconut milk than other food in western India. Curries are creamier and spicy, with spices like cumin, cloves, turmeric and aniseed being used commonly.

The drinks available include fresh fruit juices or fresh fruit shakes, beers and wines of local and imported varieties. Local Thai rice whiskeys and imported spirits are also easily available along with an array of refreshing cocktails at the numerous bars around Phuket. Make sure to taste ‘Fenni’, a local alcoholic drink. It is famous for its refreshing taste.

International cuisines available at North Goa include some mouthwatering Japanese, French, Italian, British Middle-east delicacies.
